When the Key Bridge Fell, the Food Safety Net Stood Up
The Key Bridge collapse is a tragic event that will have far-reaching and long-lasting consequences.
Thankfully, due to the generosity of our donors, supporters, and our friends in Annapolis, the Maryland Food Bank and its statewide food safety net stands ready to offer assistance and support to neighbors—both every day, and in times of heightened need.
"When the Key Bridge collapsed, we contacted the local charity we usually support to find out how we could best support the people in the Baltimore area who have been so heavily affected, either directly or indirectly, by the disaster. They suggested that the best way to do that would be to donate to the Maryland Food Bank, because you can get food to where it is most currently needed, backing up the local organizations."

We are also hearing that there is a need for bi-lingual volunteers to welcome and help our Spanish-speaking neighbors navigate the safety net. If you are able to provide this critical skill, please contact Partner Marketing.
On behalf of our neighbors and partners, thank you for your willingness to be there for your fellow Marylander, no matter the circumstances.
